Detailed Pencil Drawings
In visual art, horror vacui (/ˈhɔːrər ˈvɑːkjuːaɪ/; from Latin "fear of empty space"), also kenophobia, from Greek "fear of the empty"), is the filling of the entire surface of a space or an artwork with detail.
Here is a collection of stream of consciousness pencil drawings, 1988 to present. I have accomplished about one a year in this time period. I see the work as ethereal and dreamlike. They are not intended to describe a particular narrative, theme or event. The viewer is invited to bring his/her own dialogue to the work.
These drawings are sold as an open-edition lithographic reproduction.
All images are watermarked on the website, but the watermarks are not on the piece you will receive.
